IT Financial Systems manager

Position Overview:

The IT Financial Systems Manager will lead a team delivering IT financial systems and reporting services for a range of internal clients, including the executive team, front office staff, and Finance and Accounting departments. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strong leadership, and a strategic approach to aligning financial systems with organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and reporting solutions using tools such as Elite 3E, Power BI, Data Insights, and SSRS.
• Manage project timelines, IT governance practices, and system architecture to support reliable data integration and analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to develop tailored financial solutions, ensuring alignment with IT infrastructure.
• Maintain data integration across legacy and modern environments, particularly for legal financial reporting.
• Analyze data sources to identify relationships among data objects, documenting these relationships accurately.
• Develop and refine SQL functions and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Mentor and train team members on SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS capabilities, enhancing team knowledge and application of these technologies.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years leading IT teams within legal financial systems or financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting technologies, with experience using Elite 3E, Power BI, Data Insights, Intapp Time, Intellistat, and SSRS.
• Strong project management and governance skills.
• Deep understanding of SQL, data cubes, and table structures across legal IT finance software systems.

Fully remote but will need to be a US Citizen or Green Card holder. No C2C.
