Engineering Manager/Technical Lead – Multi-Modality AI/DATA

Role is based in Abu Dhabi – Relocation required

My client is building out exciting new projects across this busy area of Multi-Modality and AI. This is a chance for you to bring your own idea’s/vision and passion into the team and then build a team around this and be part of the global visionary R&D group.

This is a start up and chance to build something exciting with amazing funding, and part of a forward looking R&D/Applied Research Group

Ideally we are looking for 10yrs Post PHD/Masters for this role, and this is a chance for an experienced engineer and leader to innovate and enhance algorithms for multi-modal applications.

You will lead the deployment of models across platforms and create interactive demos. The role involves working with various data types, including image/video, audio, text, point-clouds, depth, radar, and time-series data.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven experience leading a team/project and able to driving technology road-maps in this area.

• Chance to lead, Develop and implement advanced models, such as transformers, for multi-modal tasks.
• Curate and manage real-world datasets for model training.
• Experienced to build and train models on multi-GPU systems, ensuring efficiency.
• Write clean, optimized code and participate in code reviews.
• Deploy models on platforms including robotics with ROS.
• Build user-friendly demo interfaces.
• Optimize models for real-world accuracy, robustness, and speed.
• Innovate fusion algorithms for combining data from multiple sources.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Expertise in digital signal processing and AI principles.
• Proficient in Python and experience with TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
