We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to join a Hamburg based team building advanced ML platforms for the AdTech space, handling upto 3Billion API requests daily.

The teams platforms helps connect advertisers with end users by delivering ads that are relevant to users, while simultaneously helping advertisers reach audiences interested in their products. To achieve this, The team have developed APIs that handle 3Billion daily requests with low latency. Additionally, they have integrated machine learning models, built in-house, to ensure users are served the most engaging and relevant ads.

As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Software Engineering group, with the teams primary focus on building and scaling backend services using Go. You will also oversee the design, development, and optimization of the team’s microservices architecture, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.

We are seeking a Director of Engineering with:

• Strong hands on Golang development experience.
• Excellent cloud Infrastructure knowledge on AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Data tooling such as Kafka/Kinesis.
• Experience leading/scaling software engineering groups.

Salary: upto €125,000 base, stock, 30 days vacation, and relocation package if needed
