Software Quality Assurance Engineer

I am looking for a SW Quality Assurance Engineer to join an international team of 15 agile developers and testers focused on creating and maintaining various embedded devices. You'll have the chance to work on real-time applications, security measures, product safety protocols, signal analysis, wireless communication, and more.

My client specialises in developing technologies aimed at ensuring the safety and reliability of electric power systems, effectively addressing the evolving challenges within the energy sector.

Location: Western region of Austria

Work model: On Site

Salary: Up to €85k + Benefits

Skillset:

Technical education in IT or electrical engineering.

Proficient in C/C++, Python or C#, with expertise in communication protocols (HTTP, XML, JSON, REST).

Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, and Jmeter, coupled with proficiency in frameworks such as Cucumber and Specflow.

Knowledge of HIL, GIT and SSH.

Linux familiarity and exposure to CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps and Jenkins) are advantageous.

Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Main Tasks:

QA activities: analysing test requirements, setting up test environments, test planning, automation, execution, reporting, and closure.

Designing, programming, and maintaining multi-platform automated tests.

Executing system and verification tests, supervising release cycles, and enhancing test frameworks and continuous integration.

Continuous improvement of development processes and DevOps approach to enhance product quality.
