Position: Senior Java/Python Developer

Job Type: Full Time (100% Remote)

We are in search of a candidate with a minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on experience in the software development industry. As a Senior Java/Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role with our client on their project which is with a Fortune 500 company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Java development, and Python programming, and good experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Note: This is a 100% Remote position for candidates who are residing anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize Java and Python to create scalable and efficient applications.
• Design and implement microservices and RESTful web services for seamless integration.
• Work closely with AWS cloud services, leveraging your expertise to optimize performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, with a focus on tools like Jenkins for seamless integration with GitHub and Artifactory.
• Showcase proficiency in server programming, databases, SQL data query, and cloud architectures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7-8 years of solid software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Python development.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD stacks such as Jenkins and Serverless.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to automation frameworks like Pytest or Nightwatch.
