Support Engineer

Objective is to provide support to a system called “Accounting Data Hub”, with users in Madrid, London, New York and LatAm. Resource will join project/development teams if no support activity required. Opportunity to do support and some development too. The system Accounting Data Hub is a repository for accounting information and is part of the data lakes which are the data golden source for the bank.

Mandatory:

• At least 3 – 5 yrs experience in support and/or development.
• Spark at least 1 year experience.
• Available work hours (Monday – Friday): 16:00 – 00:00.
• English language working capacity needed.
• 100% remote work is accepted, but candidate can go to office if he wants to.
• Available to be on call 3 nights per month (at home with mobile phone on). Entire teams expects to receive 3 – 4 phone calls a month so most possibly no phonecalls will be received during those 3 nights.
• Available to carry one night activation every 2-3 months. Activation might last 3-4 hrs and additional pay rate is 150%.

Important:

• Accustomed to work independently.
• Some basic knowledge of Scala.
• Experience in banking.
• Accustomed to work with different geographies and shift work.
