Job Description

We are seeking an Ops Manager/Service Manager to join our team and support the client’s Italy business unit. This role focuses on understanding business needs, managing priorities effectively, and ensuring smooth operations. While strong technical expertise is not a requirement, knowledge of databases or Informatica PowerCenter would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively to understand and prioritize business needs with the team.
  • Allocate 60% of time to supporting the client’s Italy business unit and 40% to service management for applications.
  • Provide on-call support during:
  • Weekdays: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (and until 6:00 PM during monthly release days, one Saturday per month).
  • Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure shared responsibility for on-call duties.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Management Skills: Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with databases or Informatica PowerCenter is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency:
  • Fluent English (C2 level) with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience:
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.


Additional Details:

  • Location: Fully remote.
  • Mobility: No travel required outside the country.
  • Contract Duration: 6 months with the potential for extension.
  • Start Date: 03/02/2025.
