Incident Manager

Our client is a privately owned company with a global presence, leading the B2B distribution of electrical equipment, solutions, and services. They are on the look-out for an experienced Incident Manager - CSIRT (Computer Emergency Response Team) to join their team.

This is an URGENT remote contract role

5 days a week (40hrs) 6 - 12 months

Role:

You are responsible for leading cybersecurity incident response efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective mitigation of security threats. This role involves developing and refining incident response processes, maintaining response plans, and producing key performance indicators to improve security operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of cybersecurity incident response.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
• Coordinate with IT, security, legal, and business units during incidents.
• Communicate incident updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Provide training and awareness programs on incident response.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats and collaborate with external partners.

Requirements

• Must have EU citizenship
• Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory); French (optional)
• Must have own registered company
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Preferred certifications: GCIH, CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Strong knowledge of incident response methodologies and tools.
• Leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and diverse teams.
