We are excited to partner with one of the UK’s leading financial services providers to find a talented DevOps Manager. This client is at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide innovative solutions in the financial sector. They are looking to expand their tech team with a dynamic and forward-thinking DevOps professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Role Overview:

As the DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s DevOps practices, infrastructure, and automation strategies. Leading a growing team, you will play a key role in managing the deployment pipeline, ensuring systems are highly available, secure, and scalable, and driving continuous improvement within the organization’s cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of DevOps professionals, promoting best practices and a collaborative culture.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, driving automation across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and optimize system performance.
• Implement and enforce security protocols and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve the DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing timely solutions and maintaining system uptime.
• Ensure infrastructure is built with resilience, scalability, and cost-efficiency in mind.

What they're looking for?

• Strong experience in DevOps, with a proven track record in managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industries is desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work in a fully remote environment.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
