Senior Storage Engineer
6 Month Contract
Fully remote in the UK
£400 - £430 per day - Inside IR35
My client a well-known bank is currently looking for a Senior Storage Engineer who manage the open systems storage for the financial sector. You’ll play a key in the day to day BAU work (upgrades, patching, storage allocations, backups) and incident support.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily infrastructure checks and responding accordingly
- Storage Provisioning and allocation
- Backup and restore tasks
- Infrastructure Upgrades
- A sound understanding of the principles of resilience and operability in an enterprise storage environment
- A broad understanding of surrounding IT infrastructure: hardware, networking, data
- An aptitude to quickly assimilate and understand complexity under pressure to diagnose and remediate technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Bonus points for experience with VMware, Windows, Rhel, etc. and networking
