About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Consultant to join our team in the Philippines. This role focuses on leveraging automation tools and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate is experienced in test automation and has a strong understanding of modern testing practices and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with JavaScript; experience with Playwright is highly desirable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between testing activities and business objectives.
• Enhance end-to-end test coverage and take complete ownership of automation testing outcomes.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for enterprise-level applications.
• Participate in sprint planning sessions and Scrum meetings to provide automation test recommendations and feedback.

Key Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing within a software engineering environment.
• Proven expertise with automation frameworks, particularly Selenium with JavaScript; Playwright experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, functional testing, and test management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and provide innovative solutions to testing challenges.

Bonus Points For:

• ISTQB or Agile Test Certification (Foundation level or above).
• Experience with AWS platforms and open-source tools.
• Knowledge of security concepts, such as authentication and authorization.
• Hands-on experience facilitating discussions about automation testing strategies.
• Solid foundation in writing test cases to ensure code reliability and quality.
