Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a senior Laravel Developer. The Laravel Developer will be responsible for back-end web development and programming tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Required Skills:

• Laravel Expert – Deep experience with Laravel (Blade, Eloquent, Livewire, etc.).

• PHP & OOP – Strong object-oriented programming and PHP expertise.

• Database Management – MySQL, query optimization, database design, and migrations.

• RESTful APIs & Integrations – Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs.

• Testing & Debugging – PHPUnit, Pest, and debugging tools.

• Version Control & CI/CD – GIT, GitFlow, Docker, automated deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Security Best Practices – Understanding of web security principles (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection).

• DevOps & Server Management – Basic experience with Linux, Nginx/Apache, and Laravel Forge/Vapor.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Vue.js or React for building interactive UIs.

• Experience with Microservices Architecture.

• Familiarity with Laravel Nova.

• Experience with multi-tenant applications.

• Background in Shopify App Development (Bonus).

• Background in WordPress Plugin Development (Bonus).

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.

• Excellent communication skills in English (Medium/High level required).

• Experience managing development workflows and collaborating with stakeholders.

• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on Laravel and PHP trends.
