A leading AI-driven tech company is looking for a Linguistic Engineer to work on cutting-edge AI, speech technology, and multilingual NLP projects. This role combines linguistic expertise, Python coding, and data analysis to refine AI language models and improve speech recognition.

🔹 What You’ll Do:

✔ Conduct linguistic error analysis on AI model outputs

✔ Develop annotation guidelines for large-scale data projects

✔ Research language acquisition, sociolinguistics, and typology

✔ Work with multilingual datasets to improve AI models

✔ Collaborate with engineers and researchers on LLMs, ASR, and NLP

🔹 What You Bring:

✔ M.A. or PhD in Linguistics or related field

✔ Python & SQL proficiency (R is a plus)

✔ Background in language acquisition & sociolinguistics

✔ Experience with AI assistants, machine translation, or speech tech

💰 £63K - £70K + Bonus | 📍 London-Based | Fully Remote
