C++ Backend Developer (f/m/d) - onsite or remote / home office

• Develop and maintain robust C++ services for our mail store platform, deployable on both dedicated hardware and our in-house Kubernetes clusters.
• Drive the implementation of new features across all systems for automated email processing, engaging from conception to final release.
• Spearhead architecture spikes and proofs of concept for complex or high-risk systems, while evaluating and integrating new technologies.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams including QA, spam experts, architects, and operations, contributing ideas and expertise autonomously.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and actively participate in internal and external conferences.

• Solid expertise in object-oriented programming with modern C++, including proficiency in STL and Boost. Familiarity with web technologies like JSON and RESTful HTTP is essential.
• Proven experience with Linux as a development and server environment for high-load systems, along with adeptness in managing distributed systems.
• Proficiency in containerized services on cloud platforms. Ideally, familiarity with IETF RFC Mail Standards.
• Strong understanding of automated software quality assurance practices (Unit Testing, Performance Tests, Continuous Deployment/Delivery) within an agile development framework.
• A self-motivated, communicative, and adaptable team player who thrives on innovation and collaboration. Proficiency in both German and English is a plus.
