Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year.

Employment Type: Full-Time.

Overview

A manufacturing company in the Greater Charlotte Area, South Carolina, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. The role focuses on developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), driving process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with the operations team on key deliverables. This position requires hands-on problem-solving, equipment evaluation, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Support installation, debugging, and launch of plant equipment while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct PFMEA reviews, simulation analysis, control plan evaluations, and manage launch deliverables.
• Troubleshoot automation systems, oversee new equipment installation, and implement necessary modifications.
• Perform root cause analysis on production, engineering, equipment, and maintenance-related challenges.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including PLC troubleshooting.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management experience in leading process engineering initiatives.
