Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineers, including those at Staff and Principal levels, to join a very highly skilled team. This team is dedicated to researching, developing, and implementing the latest advancements in recommender systems, search & ranking, relevance, and marketing strategies such as CTR optimization, Lifetime Value prediction, and user understanding.

There are five open positions available, providing a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Be a hands-on contributor, able to contribute to research direction, as well as code.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models to enhance recommender systems, search & ranking, and relevance.
• Innovate and implement cutting-edge marketing strategies to optimize click-through rates (CTR), predict Lifetime Value, and deepen user understanding.
• Conduct rigorous research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and apply these findings to real-world applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align machine learning initiatives with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models and algorithms in a production environment.
• Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in Python or another relevant language.
• Deep understanding of recommender systems, search & ranking algorithms, and marketing analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience of working in high-performing machine learning teams that have created best-in-class solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis from our Bay Area, San Francisco offices, or remotely from anywhere in the US for the right candidate.
