Senior Python Backend Developer

Fully remote!! - EU only

Salary: €95-110k + package

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong Python background to help build and optimize our distributed API system that interacts with LLMs. The ideal candidate is a generalist with experience in backend development, network programming, and distributed systems, ensuring smooth communication between our web front end and backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems, focusing on distributed computing and API interactions with LLMs.
• Work with Django and FastAPI to build scalable and efficient services.
• Design and implement networked services that can handle distributed workloads.
• Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.

Requirements:

• Strong Python backend experience, with a focus on building web APIs
• Experience with distributed systems and network programming.
• Hands-on experience with Django (including async Django) and FastAPI.
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), though specific expertise is less important than adaptability.
• A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
