Data Analyst – 3-Month Contract (EU Remote, Extension Possible)

We are seeking a Data Analyst for a 3-month contract (with a strong possibility of extension) to support business decision-making through data-driven insights for a client in the automotive industry, specifically within dealerships. This is a fully remote role within the EU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and define business questions, uncovering underlying challenges and translating them into data-driven problems.
• Create visualisations (charts, graphs) to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Apply statistical analysis to quantify trends and patterns, ensuring data-backed decision-making.
• Leverage deep industry knowledge to contextualise insights and drive strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to inform and influence management decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔ Strong ability to translate business problems into data analysis.

✔ Expertise in data visualisation (Matplotlib, Pandas).

✔ Solid foundation in statistics to assess data patterns.

✔ Advanced industry knowledge in the automotive sector, specifically around dealership operations.

✔ Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Typical Technologies:

• Jupyter Notebook

Preferred Background:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Psychology, or any field that fosters analytical thinking.
• Experience in automotive analytics or working with dealership data is a strong advantage.
