Founding Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Founding Backend Engineer for an AI InsureTech startup from based out of SF Bay Area. Have raised funding from tier-1 investors and founding team comes from top global AI labs.

Requirements:

• Problem Solver - You love solving hard problems (and have a history of doing so).
• High Agency & Ownership - You take charge and force things into existence - bonus points if you've been a CTO or founding engineer.
• Proven Builder - 2+ years in backend development and Python, with a track record of fast, production-grade code shipping.
• Core System Design - You own and are responsible for our core infrastructure, databases (PostgreSQL, vector DBs), and architecture.
• Cloud Mastery - You know your way around REST, GraphQL, GCP, AWS, Docker.
