TechHeads is partnered with an innovative new start up to provide a rare opportunity to be involved in a project with huge potential. If successful, you will be working with a greenfield start-up to provide drone based solutions in a growing industry. Using a modern tech stack including GoLang and React to build new applications for this growing Start-Up.

This is a permanent role for a Principal Software Engineer looking to build invaluable experience to further their career. Throughout the project, you will have a hands on role in the product development process. As part of this greenfield team, you will also be given the responsibility of mentoring other developers, making this a rare opportunity to grow and learn as a leader and innovator.

This position is also fully remote. As part of the team, you will have opportunities to travel as the product currently has bases that span 3 continents. This is a unique role that offers you a wealth of opportunities as well as an incredible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable micro-service applications to deliver on customer needs.
• Lead the development of features across the stack and all the way to deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure seamless integration and deployment of shared support services such as IAM/user authentication, email and notification systems, and support ticketing tools
• Own CI/CD pipeline and internal processes around it.
• Mentor other developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience as Senior Software Engineer
• 4+ years’ experience of Back End Development – Go Lang/Go
• 2+ years’ experience with Front End Development – JavaScript/React
• Experience with Messaging Systems – Kafka
• Experience with Databases – Mongo DB (Preferred)
• Experience with Docker

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: €85,000 - €90,000
• % of Salary in Equity Each Year, Remote Working in Ireland, Flexible Working Hours, Opportunity to Travel.
