Application Support Engineer

Attention Application Support professionals!

One of APACS fastest growing Hedge Fund is looking for an Application Support Engineer to manage their 3rd party/vendor application stacks.

You will be coming in with 5+ years of application support background with essential experience in SAAS/DevOps/AWS. As a pivotal member of the Engineering Support team, you will work with the global team to provide IT support to users, handle critical incidences, continuously improve processes.

Your responsibilities

• Support of the 3rd party applications (Refinitiv, Grafana, ChatGPT, Artifactory, etc), including on-premise, AWS deployments and SaaS
• Onboard new applications and extends/enhance existing ones
• Monitor and report software issues as well as improve environment stability
• Work with traders, researchers, and developers to build out bespoke platforms and environments
• Implement automated and scalable application systems, processes, and controls

Your Skillsets

• 5+ years experience in support/DevOps/AWS
• Sound knowledge in application support and incident management is mandatory
• Experience AWS provisioning through IaC (Infrastructure as Code), e.g. Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with DevOps tools
• Prior experience with Refinitiv, and trade support is a big plus!
