About the Product

ArtWorkout teaches people how to draw in a gamified way — like Duolingo for languages or Simply Piano for music. Users learn through step-by-step tracing lessons, get instant feedback, and see clear progress. The app is fun, relaxing, and surprisingly effective — some even use it for recovery after health issues like strokes.

We’ve already launched the Android version and are now looking for a Lead Android Developer to help grow and lead the Android team.

Your Role

This is not just a dev job — we’re hiring a leader for the Android direction.

You’ll:

Lead and scale our Android development efforts

Take ownership of the Android codebase and roadmap

Build and manage a team of Android developers

Collaborate closely with product managers and designers

Work on performance, UX, and precision of the drawing engine

Take part in product discussions, experiment design, and A/B test planning

Drive quality and innovation in the Android experience

Requirements

3+ years of commercial Android development (or strong personal projects)

Real experience with computer graphics (e.g., Canvas, OpenGL)

Proven team leadership or strong readiness to step into a lead role

Strong product mindset and proactivity

Experience working with analytics and A/B testing

English at B1+ level (Russian is a bonus but not required)

Nice to Have

Experience with drawing apps or touch-based interfaces

Passion for creativity, education, or gamified learning

Interest in long-term product growth and user behavior
