.NET Technical Team Lead

We're looking for a .NET Technical Team Lead to work remotely with our partner from Amman.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of talented engineers in developing and scaling a major digital platform focused on Arabic literature. You’ll combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical work, contributing directly to the platform’s architecture, performance, and scalability to serve millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary development team (.NET, iOS, Android) while actively contributing to hands-on coding and problem-solving.

• Architect, design, and implement key backend components to enhance system functionality, reliability, and performance.

• Conduct high-level code reviews, refactor and optimize legacy code, and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

• Oversee and implement best practices in CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies to ensure smooth, efficient deployments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and content, to align technical development with business goals.

• Manage cloud infrastructure operations and ensure high availability, security, and performance on platforms like Azure and Google Cloud.

• Handle technical troubleshooting for payment systems, including Apple IAP, Google IAP, Stripe, Fawry, and eWallets.

• Oversee security protocols and platform reliability using tools like Cloudflare and other security solutions.

• Optimize platform search functionalities using Elasticsearch and manage application performance monitoring through New Relic.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years leading technical teams.

• Strong proficiency in .NET Framework (including .NET 5 and .NET 8).

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, and Firebase.

• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and DevOps processes.

• Proven experience in scalability, performance optimization, and cloud infrastructure management.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with security best practices, cloud-based monitoring, and APM tools like New Relic.
