R&D Software Manager

Job Descriptions:

• Lead, manage and hands on in R&D machine software projects and solution development

• Lead, manage, design and develop machine software & sequence for high speed automated machines

• Lead, manage, develop machine motion profile and control for high speed movement modules

• Lead team brainstorming, problem solving, DFMEA and design review discussions of machine software

• Project management of varies R&D software development programs

• Plan and manage projects or tasks to meet expectations on quality and timeliness

• Expected to establish the core competency and become the content expert within the group to provide guidance and solve complex issues

• Assisting the team training needs, guiding the team competency development, learning and growth

• New technology path finding and continue to innovate new solution for improvement and technology enhancement

• Conduct and lead issue investigation, troubleshooting and work with cross functional team for solution implementation

• Determine project specification and schedule by studying the product requirements and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements

• Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Master Degree in Engineering or Science in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Computer with second upper class or above

• Strong in software programming and electronics/electrical design

• Develop and standardize documentation including machine software, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.

• Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C# programming language

• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is an added advantage

• Knowledge of machine sequences, semiconductor processes and strategic innovation thinking.

• Experience in leading & developing a strong performing R&D team

• At least 7 years working experience in related field at managerial position

• Possess good leadership, good experience of project management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Work with cross-functional (and multinational) teams to identify automation and equipment opportunities and develop solutions

• Working location: Suzhou, China
