We’re hiring on behalf of an ambitious Web3 venture that is redefining the stablecoin and DeFi space. They’ve developed an innovative protocol aiming to create a safer, more transparent, and more efficient alternative to existing stablecoins. With a recent product prelaunch attracting over $100M in TVL within days, the project is gaining significant momentum and attention in the decentralized finance community.

🛠 The Role

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a crucial part in the development of their first major product release. Working alongside a small, highly skilled team of smart contract and full-stack engineers, you’ll focus on building and integrating backend systems that support their decentralized application (dApp) and smart contracts.

🔍 Responsibilities

Backend Development & Integration

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure for the dApp.
• Integrate smart contracts with the front end using Wagmi and The Graph.
• Use TypeScript and related tools to ensure performance and functionality.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with smart contract engineers to align integration efforts.
• Partner with QA engineers to uphold code quality and application reliability.
• Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Keep up with evolving trends in Web3 and DeFi.
• Propose creative technical solutions and improvements.
• Help refine engineering processes and workflows.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Technical Expertise

• Strong in TypeScript and Solidity.
• Experience with Wagmi for Web3 integration.
• Solid understanding of The Graph for blockchain data querying.
• Familiarity with Foundry for smart contract development and testing.
• Exposure to Google Cloud infrastructure.

Experience

• Previous backend development experience in a Web3 or DeFi project.
• Comfortable working independently and delivering production-ready code.
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team setup.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-evolving technical environment.
