Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and web applications.
• Contribute to the development of the company's core data platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data and AI.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the team's development practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Solid foundation in computer science principles.
• Proven experience in software development using languages such as Kotlin, Python, Java or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Snowflake).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese is required and some English capabilities is highly desired.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with frameworks/middleware such as Micronaut, gRPC, Apache Pulsar.
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in direct client communication, requirements gathering and technical proposal creation
