Senior Java/Go Engineer

📍 Remote | 🧑‍💻 For our client | 🕒 B2B Contract: 6–9 months

We’re currently hiring Senior Java & Golang Engineers to join our client's team, an innovative US-based travel-tech company. You’ll be working directly with the client’s product team on their Order Management System, helping to shape a solution used by airlines and travel companies around the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a modern, data-driven platform — under a 6–9 month B2B contract, with the possibility of extension.

• Developing and enhancing the Order Management System, primarily in Java, with plans to migrate it to Golang
• Designing and optimizing database structures (Postgres / Google Spanner)
• Building APIs and microservices in a cloud-native environment
• Collaborating with DevOps on automation and CI/CD processes
• Implementing observability tools like DataDog and NewRelic
• Participating in product development within a Scrum team of 5–8 cross-functional members
• Engaging in business-focused discussions and contributing to product direction

• The system is already live and in active development
• The current codebase is relatively new (around 1.5 years old) – no heavy legacy
• The team is expanding and modernizing the system, with plans to gradually rewrite it in Go
• After ~3–4 months of cooperation, standby and on-call (24/7) duties will be introduced as part of the support model

• 4+ years of backend development experience, including 2+ years with Java
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with performance-oriented queries
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)
• Previous experience or strong interest in Golang is a big plus
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

• 6–9 month B2B contract with the possibility of extension
