What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Triaging issues raised from other teams within the business to understand priorities and ensure all necessary information is present for work to be completed.
• Mentoring and guiding junior SDETs and QA engineers.
• Analysing repetitive tests and delivering high-quality, non brittle, automated solutions.
• Managing, designing, implementing and maintaining integrated and E2E system tests
• Performing both manual as well as automated testing.
• Supporting the development team in designing high value unit tests.
• Working closely with developers within an Agile sprint team to refine & estimate items of work and other Agile ceremonies.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership / mentoring abilities.
• Strong proficiency with programming languages including Python.
• Strong knowledge of working within AWS.
• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and practices.
