How are your skills in leading engineering teams, making smart technical decisions, and driving delivery without compromising on quality? We’re looking for a Technical Lead who excels in all of these areas to help shape the future of our WhatsApp integration — one of our fastest-growing and most unique channels. In this role, you’ll play a key part in roadmap planning, architectural decisions, and cross-functional collaboration. All while helping your team scale its impact and stay focused on what truly matters.

What You'll Do 🚀

Development & Execution

• WhatsApp: Develop new features within WhatsApp channel, participation in alpha, beta testing and early public releases as Meta partners, and adjust existing functionality to new business requirements.
• Assess and mitigate technical risks, ensuring timely feature delivery.
• Lead the team in making technical decisions aligned with business objectives.
  
  

Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency in technical decisions.
• Synchronize with other teams, including the Infrastructure team, to ensure effective collaboration.
  
  

Cultural Leadership & Process Improvement

• Foster an environment where innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence thrive.
• Ensure processes adhere to best engineering practices and quality standards.
• Support and develop the team’s technical expertise through mentorship and onboarding.
  
  

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year in a Technical Lead role.
• Strong expertise in modern PHP technologies (we use PHP 8.3).
• Experience working with relational databases (we use PostgreSQL)
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical projects.
• Experience working with third-party API integrations (e.g., Meta APIs)
• Expertise in system design and architecture.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Experience working in rapidly scaling systems.
• Ability to write testable code and maintain testing standards.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

It Would Be Great If You Have

• Experience working with NoSQL databases and analytical systems.
• Background in high-load systems and queue-based architectures.
• Understanding of infrastructure and DevOps best practices.
