About the role Join a cutting-edge R&D center based in Leuven, Belgium, which focuses on developing tomorrow’s technology solutions. As a Solution Architect specializing in Backup & Storage, you will architect enterprise-wide strategies for backup and storage solutions that ensure scalability, security, and resilience for challenging ICT environments. Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and IT teams to drive robust, future-proof solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement strategic visions for backup and storage technologies.
• Collaborate with team stakeholders to design scalable, cost-effective enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Oversee architecture design, including performance optimization and capacity planning.
• Ensure data protection, compliance, and security across back-up solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgeting, and align disaster recovery strategies with organizational needs.
  
  

Requirements

• Must be willing to work on-site in Leuven, Belgium, for 3 days per week. Relocation assistance is available.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in enterprise storage and backup architectures.
• Demonstrated expertise with Dell storage platforms (e.g. Dell Isilon and Dell PowerStore).
• Familiarity with Rubrik backup solutions and hybrid storage strategies.
• Proficient in data security, compliance standards, and disaster recovery planning.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
