WordPress Developer with PHP

❗️IMPORTANT: This position is office based for our office in Limassol, Cyprus.

❗️We can provide relocation assistance if you're outside of the city or country.

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with PHP who will join our team in the Cyprus office.

As a WordPress Developer with PHP, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our WordPress websites.

✅ Responsibilities:

✔️Maintain and configure WordPress-based websites;

✔️Confidently work with PHP: debug and extend site functionality;

✔️Strong skills in PHP (including OOP);

✔️HTML, CSS (including jQuery);

✔️JavaScript;

✔️Identify and fix bugs quickly and effectively;

✔️Optimize performance and ensure site security;

✔️Implement improvements and automate routine processes;

✔️Perform basic technical SEO optimization;

✔️Integrate third-party APIs and services;

✔️Develop and customize themes and plugins.

✅ Requirements:

✔️Deep understanding of WordPress architecture: templates, hooks, filters, WP_Query;

✔️Experience with databases (MySQL), writing and optimizing queries;

✔️Ability to read, understand, and work with existing code;

✔️GIT;

✔️Knowledge of new version WordPress security principles;

✔️Familiarity with ACF and taxonomies;

✔️Proficiency in debugging and profiling code;

✔️Basic understanding of technical SEO (robots.txt, sitemap, structured data, etc.).
