Experience Summary:

• Designed and built data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Ruby, and Regex, following Agile development methodologies.
• Configured Single Sign-On (SSO) and integrated data into an Elasticsearch cluster.
• Developed Kibana dashboards and observability features, along with managing templates, ILM (Index Lifecycle Management) policies, alerting rules, and monitoring tools within the ELK stack.
• Performed routine maintenance and upgrades of Elasticsearch clusters, including managing snapshots and enhancing overall system performance.
• Diagnosed and resolved infrastructure-level issues across components such as firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, SSL certificates, and Linux-based systems.
• Documented technical procedures and workflows in Confluence for team collaboration and maintained agile project tracking via Jira and GitHub.

Technical Profile (Requirement Match):

This role aligns with an operational profile possessing strong hands-on experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimise existing ELK instances within a Linux operations context.
• Support the evolution of the platform by implementing new data ingestion and observability use cases.
• Operate within an Azure-based infrastructure, utilizing tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and Git for deployment and configuration management.
• Responsibilities include:
• Designing and deploying new log ingestion pipelines using Logstash and Filebeat
• Managing log storage, indexing, and data lifecycle in Elasticsearch
• Developing interactive dashboards in Kibana
• Delivering alerting and monitoring capabilities via the ELK stack
• Contributing to OpenTelemetry implementation for observability enhancements
