Cargobot is seeking a Remote HR Specialist based in Colombia to support our team. You’ll be the go-to HR contact for our Colombian team, working independently while staying connected to our global HR department. About the Role

As the HR Specialist for Colombia, you’ll be the primary HR support for our team in the region. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our global HR team and collaborate closely with our Finance department to ensure timely and accurate payroll. You’ll manage all local HR processes—from onboarding to offboarding—and help drive a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main HR point of contact for team members based in Colombia.
• Collaborate with Finance to prepare monthly payroll inputs and ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws.
• Support recruitment efforts in Colombia: post jobs, coordinate interviews, and manage local hiring logistics.
• Own the onboarding and offboarding process for Colombian employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
• Help execute local compliance requirements, benefits administration, and internal policy updates.
• Provide general HR administrative support and assist with global HR projects when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Based in Colombia, with a home office setup and a reliable internet connection.
• 2+ years of experience in HR, payroll coordination, or administrative roles.
• Familiarity with Colombian labor law and payroll practices is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working independently and owning local processes.
• Excellent communication and time management skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and other HR tools.
• English proficiency (B2 or above) – you'll communicate with global teammates regularly.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a team-first mindset.
