Job Description
What You'll Do
- Lead the charge on technical design and architecture for a high-impact React Native application used by thousands.
- Be the technical guru and mentor for fellow engineers, setting the bar high for code quality and engineering best practices (like, really high).
- Team up with Product, Design, and Backend squads to craft mobile experiences so seamless they feel like magic (but are actually just brilliant code).
- Own and level up the mobile CI/CD pipelines, ensuring releases are smoother than a buttered slide.
- Become the Sherlock Holmes of mobile performance, sniffing out and squashing complex issues before they even think about causing trouble.
- Dive into the codebase yourself, adding features while championing clean code, solid testing, and documentation that actually gets read.
You'll be jamming with:
- Mobile Framework: React Native (obviously!)
- Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
- APIs: RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
- Cloud: Familiarity with the AWS stack
- Observability (Bonus points if you know your way around): Datadog
- Relevant Concepts: Offline Data Storage, Mobile Networking, Native Mobile Platforms (iOS, Android)
- 6+ years of crushing it in software engineering, with at least 4 years squarely focused on building awesome mobile apps with React Native.
- Proven track record of technical leadership on high-quality, scaled mobile products.
- You know the React Native architecture and ecosystem like the back of your hand.
- You speak fluent JavaScript and TypeScript for mobile dev.
- You build mobile interfaces that are not just functional, but responsive, accessible, and delightful to use.
- You're solid on working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL, including handling tricky things like offline data and mobile networking.
- You thrive in a remote-first, Agile world and can collaborate effectively with humans across time zones.
- Groovy with libraries like React Query.
- Familiarity with native mobile platforms (iOS - Objective-C / Swift, Android - Java / Kotlin).
- Experience wielding observability tools such as Datadog.
- You've wrestled with mobile build/release pipelines and have DevOps chops.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (though your skills speak louder than a piece of paper!).
- Competitive Compensation (We know your worth!).
- Fully Remote Work (Your couch is your office in LATAM).
- Career Growth & Professional Development (Level up with training, mentorship, and more).
- Work on impactful, real-world projects that genuinely make a difference in the Operations Management industry.
