G.Digital are partnered with a highly regarded product-led Health-Tech company on the lookout for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams and is comfortable shaping solutions, not just writing code. 🧠 What You’ll Bring:

• Strong Node.js experience in commercial backend systems (microservice-based)
• Fluency in TypeScript, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
• Hands-on with AWS services like Lambda and API Gateway
• Solid grasp of relational/document databases and infrastructure-as-code (bonus)
• Interest in AI development
• Comfortable working with product and design teams to build thoughtful, user-focused features
• Curious, feedback-driven, and always looking to improve beyond just code

🛠️ How You’ll Work:

• Operate in the solution space — shaping the "how" as well as the "what"
• Communicate clearly, challenge constructively, and offer smart alternatives
• Collaborate across engineering, design, and product with confidence
• Take accountability for delivery and technical direction (SFIA-L5 level)
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset to both product and process

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building robust backend systems in a Node.js, serverless AWS environment
• Regularly working on exciting Greenfield projects alongside evolving platform features
• Partnering with two senior API engineers (and more to come)
• Contributing to architecture, writing production-ready code, and shipping it with pride
• Helping shape a clean-code, collaborative engineering culture
• Positioning yourself to step up into a lead role as the team grows
