Job Title: Content Writer

Location: Hybrid in Malta - 3x / week from the office in Mhriehel (Business Quad) 

We can offer a relocation package & work permit sponsorship to those based outside of Malta. We might consider remote applications if based in Europe.

The Role

We are seeking a English Content Writer  to create engaging, high-quality content for B2C brands targeting Canadian players. While casino content will be the primary focus, there will also be opportunities to cover sports betting. If you have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the iGaming industry from previous experience in a similar role, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Content Ownership: Own all written content across a portfolio of brands, focusing mainly on online casino but with some crossover into sports betting.
• Brand Voice Development: Define and evolve the tone of voice for each brand, tailoring messaging to English-speaking markets such as Canada, New Zealand, etc.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with CRM, Brand, SEO, and Social Media teams to ensure unified messaging and campaign alignment.
• Market-Specific Research: Deep-dive into local trends, lingo, and tone preferences across different markets to ensure content feels native and resonates with players.
• Main Point of Contact: Act as the go-to person for all content-related requests across your brands.
• Performance Mindset: Support content strategies that aim to increase retention, engagement, and conversion.

What You Bring

• Experience: At least 1 year of content writing experience within the iGaming industry, ideally with an operator.
• Language Skills: Native-level English proficiency, with the ability to switch between formal, playful, and regional tones based on market.
• Mindset: Proactive, curious, and unafraid to dig deep into what makes each market unique.
• Research-Oriented: A natural researcher who enjoys exploring market trends, language patterns, and user behaviors.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of gambling culture and player behaviors, ideally from both a professional and user perspective.
• Organized & Efficient: Capable of juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and brand tones simultaneously.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to scale and personalize content production intelligently.
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in supporting team goals and creative processes.
