You can look forward to

With Your IT Know-how, You Are The First Point Of Contact For The Department "RAV Actuarial Models & Functions". In This Context You Can Look Forward To The Following Tasks

• Involvement in the project "Renovate the Core enterprise" to ensure the future-proof development of the current actuarial applications
• You make architectonic and strategic decisions to ensure technical sustainability and scalability in the Hannover Re context
• Developing and optimising ETL/ELT routines in the actuarial systems
• Coordinating with internal and external customers over the further development of our current applications
• Supporting and collaborating with internal colleagues in the area of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
• Attending events / conferences as well as preparing and holding internal events
  
  

You come equipped with

• Completed degree in computer science / business IT or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, Exasol, and Oracle DBMS
• In-depth experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT routines and data modelling with Snowflake and/or Star Schema
• Comprehensive know-how in the field of Business Intelligence
• Solid experience with large projects and proven expertise in data warehousing best practices
• Proficient user skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel worldwide on business, roughly once or twice a year
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
