Network Monitoring Engineer

We are seeking (1) Network Monitoring Engineer to join a 24-month global project (with possibility of extension), providing advanced monitoring support for hybrid cloud and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in monitoring platforms and enterprise observability to help close visibility gaps and upskill the current team.

🔍 Requirements:

• Hands-on experience administering and supporting LogicMonitor (custom data sources, alert tuning, integrations, dashboards).
• Strong knowledge of ThousandEyes (agent deployment, test configuration, network path visibility, API integrations, alerting).
• Working experience with NetBrain (dynamic maps, runbooks, automation workflows, ITSM/monitoring integrations).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, BGP, VPNs, firewalls).
• Familiarity with cloud/hybrid environments (AWS) and their monitoring/visibility requirements.
• Proficiency with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Groovy or similar) for customizing and extending monitoring solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data and identify root causes.
• Advanced English proficiency.

🎓 Preferred:

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale, highly available environments.
• Knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog and other telemetry protocols.
• Familiarity with APIs and webhooks for automation and integrations.
• Vendor certifications (CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, etc.).
• Experience with equivalent tools (SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Zabbix, etc.) will also be considered for strong cross-trainable engineers.
