Our client is a well-funded climate-tech organisation based in the UAE, developing advanced technology to support Environmental & ecosystem restoration and environmental sustainability.

Their work spans ecological and environmental sciences, GIS, AI, and robotics, with solutions already being applied in large-scale restoration projects across the region.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design of digital products that directly support impactful work on a global scale.

The Role

The client is seeking an experienced Product Designer to take ownership of end-to-end design processes, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly solutions across their digital platforms. The role requires strong design expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from research and ideation to delivery of prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Create scalable and intuitive solutions that balance functionality with ease of use.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Translate technical concepts into accessible design outputs.
• Mentor junior designers and support a collaborative design culture.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Expertise in interaction design, visual design, and user-centred solutions.
• Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma essential).
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, design thinking, and responsive design.
• Experience with design systems at scale.
• Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in cross-functional, distributed team environments.
• Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English.

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to complex or multi-role systems.
• Background or interest in AI/ML, automation workflows, or conversational interfaces.
• Familiarity with APIs or workflow builders.
• Experience in scaling design systems.
