Location: 100% Remote (Denver, CO)

Contract Length: 12 months, with potential to extend or convert

Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a Wildfire Mitigation Program by reviewing, maintaining, and analyzing GIS and database (Access) data.
• The analyst will ensure data accuracy and completeness before submission to internal teams responsible for installing and maintaining field devices.
• This role involves supporting new device installations, maintaining existing equipment, validating templates, and managing the Common Device Database.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and maintain GIS and database (Access) data for accuracy and completeness.
• Support installation and maintenance of field devices by verifying data and templates.
• Collaborate with engineers, GIS specialists, project managers, and vendors to resolve data discrepancies.
• Manage and maintain the Common Device Database.
• Process data requests and ensure accurate submissions to downstream teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong background in GIS and mapping.
• Experience with Access databases and SharePoint.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, SharePoint).
• Effective data analysis and validation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with distribution management systems (DMS).
• Knowledge of advanced database management, process automation, or integration improvements.
• Experience in utilities or communications industries.

Experience & Education:

• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Background in GIS, mapping, or related data analysis fields.
