Azure Data Architect – Dallas, Texas (Remote) – $130 per hour - Fortune 500 Company

We have an exciting opportunity for an Azure Data Architect to join a fast-growing manufacturing company in Dallas, TX on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 company in the early stages of a new data transformation project.

This will be a 6-month contract to start with opportunity to extend as the project progresses.

Key responsibilities

• Design cloud-based solutions and implement data architecture for a wide range of data sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers and architects to ensure all requirements are satisfied
• Design and adapt scalable architecture
• Migration of on prem to cloud environments

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect
• Extensive knowledge of Azure (AWS & GCP also acceptable)
• Experience on multiple projects in design and development
• Experienced in data architecture, data migration or data engineering
• Programming experience in SQL, Java and Python
• Expertise with Power BI, MySQL, Snowflake and Tableau
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred but not required

For the suitable candidate our client can offer:

• $100-$130 per hour
• 100% remote in the Dallas area as may be monthly requirements to work on site
• Opportunity for contract extension as the project continues
