Job Opportunity: Team Lead - Engineering

Location: Germany / Spain (100% remote)

Role Overview:

• Lead an international engineering team from Germany or Spain.
• Oversee team performance, career development, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to manage and empower up to 8 engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver results aligned with business priorities and best practices.
• Ensure team visibility and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Work with Product Managers on product quality and delivery schedules.
• Empower team members and maintain a stable production environment.
• Provide technical guidance and foster team growth.
• Maintain a positive team experience and address individual needs.
• Propose improvements in processes, technology, and tools.
• Lead by example and contribute hands-on when necessary.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in people management and leadership roles.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, web platforms, and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean principles.
• Commitment to engineering best practices and quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SaaS platforms and Data analytics products.
• Proficiency in Python, Kafka, or modern frontend frameworks like React.
