Motion Designer

This large tech company is looking for a VFX artist with experience in realistic effects and environments, particularly those layered onto live-action footage. Must have an example of this in your reel/portfolio. Must be able to create effects layered on top of live-action footage (film, commercial, etc.). Looking for realistic environmental effects.

This is a fully remote 5-6 month role, 40 hours/week on a W2 with Benefits, sick time and 401k opportunities.

**What You'll Do:**

* Design and implement stunning visual effects, dynamic transitions, and captivating motion graphics to enhance digital content.

* Masterfully edit and refine footage, integrating effects, overlays, and animated elements to create polished, high-quality videos.

* Seamlessly combine multiple video layers, images, and graphics through expert compositing to construct cohesive and impactful visual scenes.

* Develop engaging animated titles, lower thirds, infographics, and other dynamic elements for a diverse range of video projects.

* Perform precise color correction and enhancement, adjusting color, lighting, and overall visual style to perfectly align with project specifications and creative vision.

* Develop and maintain reusable templates and manage project assets efficiently, streamlining workflows and ensuring consistency across projects.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects.

* Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

* Strong understanding of compositing, keyframing, and core animation principles.

* Demonstrated ability to create and effectively utilize After Effects templates and expressions.

* Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to thrive and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

* Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with image annotation, content moderation, or data labeling.

Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E).

Understanding of prompt engineering and basic machine learning concepts.

Cultural fluency in visual genres such as anime, video games, comics, and historical art styles.
