Job Opening: Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET (Remote | Long-Term Contract)

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our team for a long-term project with a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, software testing, and quality assurance within the financial domain.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred)

Duration: Long-Term Project

Experience Level: 10+ years

Technical Skills Required

• Programming Languages: Strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, or C#
• Automation Tools: Proficiency in at least two of the following:
• Selenium
• Cypress
• Playwright
• Appium
• Hammer
• Cyara

Domain Expertise

• Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience testing mobile and web-based applications
• Exposure to applications such as IVR, Voice, LAD, or Live Chat (or similar customer interaction platforms) is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and scripts
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to ensure product quality across releases
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and improve overall test coverage
• Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution
• Promote QA best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment
• Detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality software
