This is a critical, fully remote role requiring flexibility for after-hours work on deployment nights to ensure minimal impact on business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patch & Update Management: Plan, execute, and validate monthly operating system patch/update deployments across Windows and Linux server environments.
- Deployment Strategy: Review, analyze, and expedite update deployments based on severity and risk information provided by stakeholders.
- Execution & Goal Management: Execute all technical tasks required to complete monthly updates strictly adhering to date-specific compliance goals.
- Remediation & Troubleshooting: Proactively remediate failed updates by researching failure codes and analyzing log data to identify and implement robust solutions. Expertise in Application Installation Troubleshooting is essential.
- Documentation: Author and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation to support and standardize the patch management process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure system uptime, security compliance, and optimal system performance post-deployment.
