Technical Support Engineer
USA – Fully Remote
$70,200 – $87,800
Saab is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support customers using some of the most advanced defense, surveillance, and electro-mechanical systems in the world. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working directly with customers, and supporting systems that really matter, this is a great fit.
This role is fully remote with occasional travel.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide remote and occasional on-site support for complex radar, surveillance, and electro-mechanical systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug hardware, software, networking, and wireless systems
- Handle escalations where first-line support can’t isolate or fix issues
- Report product issues and bugs to engineering teams
- Support customer installations, training, and long-term system maintenance
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers
What you’ll bring
- BA/BS in engineering + 2 years experience, OR MS degree, OR 6+ years military/aerospace experience
- Hands-on experience with radar/surveillance systems (design, operation, or maintenance)
- Strong independent troubleshooting skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Proven track record of building trusted customer relationships
Nice to have:
- Unix/Linux/MATLAB experience
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one (U.S. citizenship required)
