Job Description


System Administrator - US (Remote)

USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.


We're working with Govcio LLC to find a skilled SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) System Administrator to administer, configure, and maintain the SSRS platform. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work with a large user base and navigate complex VA data sources, contributing to a team passionate about transforming government IT.


Key Responsibilities:


• Manage system-wide settings such as role definitions, shared schedules, and SSRS report server properties.

• Configure the system to optimize performance and assist report builders in their product enhancements.

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Support infrastructure (on-prem and cloud), test new platform versions, and assist users with data navigation and training.

• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues efficiently, implementing best practices for performance tuning.


What You'll Need:


• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years experience (or commensurate experience).

• 2+ years experience administering, configuring, and maintaining the SSRS platform.

• 2+ years assisting customers/users in a technical support role.

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a commitment to obtaining and maintaining a suitability/public trust clearance.
