Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the SCAYLE User Interface with a strong focus on customer, order, checkout and promotion modules and related data. The product serves as a central interface between multiple backend systems and is critical for both usability and business success.
You will combine hands-on product work with people leadership responsibilities. This role requires a strong product mindset and a clear user perspective. You are expected to actively shape topics independently, deeply understand how users interact with the product and translate user needs into valuable, feasible solutions together with the team.
You will work closely with a cross-functional development team and act as a key contact for both the team and relevant stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Own and continuously develop the SCAYLE User Interface product areas (customer, order, checkout and promotion modules)
- Act as the main product contact for the development team, including refinement sessions, sprint planning and backlog prioritization
- Ensure a strong user-centric perspective by understanding user behavior and translating insights into product decisions
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA and the Tech Lead on eye level
- Work with a shared UX resource within the unit to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience
- Align product initiatives with internal stakeholders and regularly communicate progress, priorities and outcomes
- Take over people management responsibilities such as regular 1:1s, feedback and personal development discussions
- Min. 3 years of professional experience in that field
- Strong technical understanding that enables effective collaboration with backend-driven development teams
- Ability to understand complex processes and data flows and to read and work with API specifications
- Experience with agile product development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Solid understanding of APIs and backend services
- Experience in building and evolving user interfaces for complex systems
- Openness and practical experience in using AI tools to support product work and decision-making
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with different stakeholders
- Experience with e-commerce products and platforms
- Experience working in platform or system-driven product environments
- Previous exposure to scaling products or organizations
