Security
In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, IT or a similar discipline
  • Proven and strong experience in network engineering  
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security measures, and network monitoring tools
  • Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or similar preferred
  • Experience in space missions ground system operations or maintenance
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge about or experience in ground segment operations is a big plus

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain complex network systems and infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime
  • Monitor network performance and implement improvements
  • Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers to ensure secure network operations
  • Collaborate with other teams on projects and network scalability
