Job Description


Turing is seeking experienced professionals with a strong background in sales management, business development, or account leadership within the wholesale or distribution sectors. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in B2B operations, supplier coordination, and client relationship management at the level expected for experienced sales or business development managers.


Role Overview:

  • In this role, you will work on projects that help fine-tune and improve large language models (LLMs) using your knowledge of sales strategy, wholesale trade, and business operations.
  • No prior AI experience is required.
  • These projects will help you explore how AI can enhance sales forecasting, customer engagement, and decision-making in B2B environments.


What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:

  • Design and solve real-world wholesale and business development scenarios to test AI reasoning and decision logic.
  • Write structured, detailed solutions for client acquisition, negotiation, supplier management, and revenue forecasting.
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, business insight, and relevance to wholesale and distribution practices.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to strengthen model understanding of B2B sales cycles, market analysis, and channel management.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Sales Manager, Account Executive, or Business Development Lead in wholesale, distribution, or B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, pricing strategies, and sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent English communication, analytical, and reasoning skills.
